Australian-Canadian musician and vocal coach Jaime Jackett is based in Broome in the far Northwest corner of Western Australia. She holds a diploma in Contemporary Vocal Performance from Selkirk College, but came to singing naturally as a child.
Jamie has released both solo music with her band, Belle Miners. In Broome she coaches adults and teenagers, as well as directing choirs, offering songwriting workshops, and playing in a number of bands. She currently coaches in-person in Broome.
Jaime Jackett is a seasoned performer, the Broome-based artist is one part of internationally-collaborative folk-pop trio, Belle Miners, who’ve toured 6 countries in 2018, and Australia annually for 6 years.
Accompanying herself on keyboards, her cleverly penned pieces glitter with hints of soul, theatre, jazz and roots. Her performances have been noted for her vibrant presence and dynamic voice that ranges from glass-clear and sweet, to blues-drenched wails.
